Dear Padre:

On behalf of the Rotary Club of Park City Sunrise, we wish to heartily thank you for your educational and inspirational presentation at our Charter Night celebration on June 4th.

Your message about the Global Human Family paralled an important part of one of the Objects of Rotary International which is to encourage and foster the adavancement of international understanding, goodwill, and peace through a world fellowship of business and professional persons united in the ideal of service. Park City Rotarians were provided with a particularly powerful vision from you of how we can serve the Global Community in our near and long-range futures.

Your descriptions of journeys among peoples of 159 nations were fascinating to hear, and your artistic interpretation of the people you met through your portraits was inspirational to view. To experience your art is to be elevated to a higher level of consiousness, where one is compelled to see how much more there is to understand, appreciate, and work toward in assisting and providing for others. It is clear that your talent is highly appreciated in Park City, as evidenced by the number of us who are now the proud owners of your interesting book and magnificent prints. Their lasting beauty in our homes and workplaces will be enjoyed for their aesthetic value well into the future. But even more, your mastery will serve as continuous reminders for us to embrace and celebrate the interesting differences and similarities in our community, and to work toward meaningfully improving the quality of like among our Global Human Family.

The Rotary Club of Park City Sunrise has already begun to act on your message to advance international understanding, goodwill and peace through the development of our International Avenue of Service. While these activities represent only a small step initially, we are confident that their direction is on track and will continue to add value to the lives of diverse peoples across the globe for years to come.

How auspicious! What a blessing it was for Park City Sunrise Rotarians to begin our mission of service with such a highly inspirational message and vision from you, Padre.

Thank you for the honor of your visit, and for the lasting gift that you continue to give to those whose lives you touch. We in the Rotary Club of Park City Sunrise shall strive to demonstrate the significance of your message through our work in our community and for Rotary International in the future.

Sincerely,

Allen Stockbridge
Charter President, Rotary Club of Park City Sunrise
